What is included in the First Aid Training course?
Our course covers a wide range of topics, including CPR, choking management, wound care, burns, fractures, and basic life support (BLS). You will also learn how to recognize medical emergencies such as heart attacks and strokes, and how to react appropriately in each situation.
Is the course suitable for beginners?
Yes, the course is designed for beginners, as well as for those looking to refresh their knowledge. We explain everything step by step, making it easy to understand for everyone.
How long will it take to complete the course?
Each lesson in the course typically takes around 2 to 5 hours to complete, depending on your learning pace. You can pause and return to lessons at any time.
Can I complete the course at my own pace?
You are expected to complete all quizzes as will be assigned by your First Aid Instructor.
Is there a certification at the end of the course?
Yes, upon successful completion of the course and quizzes, you will receive a certificate of completion. This certificate is a great way to demonstrate your knowledge and commitment to safety.
Do I need any prior knowledge of first aid to take the course?
No prior knowledge is required. Our course is designed to start from the basics and gradually build up your knowledge and skills.
What happens if I don’t pass the quiz or exam?
If you don’t pass the quiz or exam on the first try, you can retake it . The goal is to ensure you fully understand the material.
Can I access the course after completing it?
Yes, you will have 12 months to access the course materials, so you can refer back to them anytime if you need a refresher.
Is the course recognized or accredited?
City Ambulance is a highly specialized Emergency Medical Service (EMS) provider that offers prompt, professional and affordable, basic and advanced life support services. We are fully licensed to provide Emergency Medical Services including first aid training.
Do I need any special equipment to complete the course?
No special equipment is required to take the course, but we recommend having access to a computer or tablet with a stable internet connection. Some practical skills, such as CPR, may be easier to practice with a partner, but it’s not required for course completion.
